Can't uninstall BitDefender!

Hello,

I have Windows Vista, I'm using BitDefender 2008, i have tried all he ways to uninstall it. Add/remove programs, uninstall exe, but nothing working.

Can anyone please tell me how to uninstall ?

First try to remove it in safe mode. and if doesn't helps then go to the Bitdefender website and they offer a removal tool that will completely remove it from your computer.

I have vista 64 bit. System Mechanic states BitDefender is not active. I check add/remove and I don't have the program Bit Defender. Search in start menu has zero replies for bitdefender. I tried Bitdefender removal tool from their site and with no results. I search my registry with regedit and their are 20 + entries for bitdefender. Has anybody else have had this problem. It is also like Bitdender is a virus which will not allow you to remove it from the registry.
Any suggestions.
