Hello , I Dell Dimension E510 Purchased more than one year ago and I wanted to upgrade it , Currently it has Pentium 3.2 Ghz processor, 512 of Ram memory, a 80GB hard drive, Radeon X600 video card , I wanted to upgrade the Ram memory and graphics card for Fulfilling My gaming Needs and So Can you tell me Which is the best Graphic card i can opt for , Thanks in Advance
Hello , Just wait and get an 8600GTS. Should be equivalent performance to a 7900 or 7950 but with DX10 support and probably for about the same cost as a 1900.
Hello , You can get in the 9500GT or the 9600GT, also the ATI 4670, or the 4650, there are more HERE. I would recommend the 4670, manufactors do overstate the power for their cards, and dell do understate the power for their PSU's. With that you system can handle an card that requires 400w.
Seeing as you have PCI-E i would suggest a 8600GT 45Watts it consumes(maybe dont have to up the PSU if you get this one) and its DX10 about as good as 7900GS but a little weaker in some parts but it less power comsumage and media capabilities make this card shine plus its only 100$.
