Unable to delete a partition in linux
Hello friends,
I am having Linux as my Operating system and now i don't want the partition in which i have install Linux as my Operating System .When i am trying to do it's not happening and i have also try to make a fresh installation and then try to delete it but still facing same issue. Can anyone tell me what i need to do in this case.

Sure i will help you out with this before that can you tell me which Linux you have install as your Operating System is it Ubuntu 8.10, Red hat ,SUSE etc.

I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 as my Operating System.

Try to use the following steps i hope it will wok for you.
- Open Disk Utility in OSX and you should see the un-deletable partition on the left
- Click on that partition and click the erase tab at the top.
- If this partition is for a new install of linux or windows, set the format to box to MS-DOS FAT.
- Once it's done erasing, you can either delete the partition through the minus button in Disk Utility or edit it to fit your needs.
