1066 Mhz DDR2 Running at 800 Mhz ?
Hello , I have a windows Vista installed in my dell XPS system Which Had 1 GB of DDR2 1066 PC2-8500 RAM Running at 1066MHZ and So After That I bought one Ram of 1gb DDR2 1066 PC2-8500 RAM As my Usage was increased , And i Was Feeling my system Was Degrading , so my problem os that after installing the Ram When i check it Through cpu-z It show My 1066 MHZ 1 Gb Ram are running at 800 MHZ , Can You tell me How Can I solve this Problem Thanks In Advance

Hello , You will need to either try pushing the RAM Mx (Multiplier) but I think you will find that you wont get over 800 without OCing the CPU due to the fact the memory controler is on the CPU die, not the board and is only rated for DDR-II 800. Not 1066

Hello , ddr2 stands for double data rate, so for example in CPU-Z it will say 400MHZ but the ram is running at 800MHZ
