I launched windows 7 without my bluetooth key, without the driver installed, and here is what happened:
Startup Repair started...

it takes long time to get to this screen

I chose "view diagnostic and repair details"

I opted for "System Image Recovery"
Re: Windows 7 startup repair problem
So it's normal your bluetooth key is plugged in, Windows 7 does not recognize it at startup and suddenly, it considers it a new hardware and run the Repair option which is the recovery of Windows7, the equivalent to the Recovery Console of XP, except that unlike XP, there is no need for the DVD to repair. It is also a novelty of Windows7.
PS: the screenshots of your PDA are very good :P
Re: Windows 7 startup repair problem
The search begins..

but I do not have a disk image

so I closed the dialog for more options

I clicked on "next" leaving "restore a different system image" checked

I just had to choose "install a driver"
this is my adventure, if it can help you :ohyeah:
