server won't update from WSUS and getting error 0x80070002

One of my server is not getting updated from WSUS server, It gives an error "EEHndlr WARNING: Failed to populate ServiceStartup entries in Cache: error 0x80070002" in WindowsUpdate.log. I have tried renaming "%Systemroot%\system32\wbem\Repository" folder as well as "%WinDir%\SoftwareDistribution" folder but no avail. Any idea what might be refusing it to install update??

Go through below article and try out the steps that has been mentioned there for fixing error 0x80070002.
Error message when you try to install updates by using the Windows Update or Microsoft Update Web site: "0x80004002"

I was getting same error previously for one of my server, i had tried number of solution for fixing it out. The only solution that fixed this error was deleting below registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Setup\ServiceStartup
First you can try out the solution that has been mentioned in above knowledge based article but if that doesn't help then you can try what i did. Let me know which solution works out for you, best of luck.
