hello , my freind has two card one is 8800 gts 512 mb and second is 4830 512 mb graphics card , and he want to sell either of them to me for equal price so now I Have the option of purchasing one the cards from my freind, so i though why not purchase the better one when i will get the both at same amount , so can you tell which card is better , Thanks in advance for Your Suggestion
Hello , I would have said that the 8800gts would have been the better card, but it's a tough call with the 4830 (especially with nvidia's 'recent' driver optimisations). Dont you have enough free time to test them both yourself?on your pc just borrow it for day or two and run all your games
Hello , The 4830 has better performance and seems to do better at higher resolutions as well Other than that the cards perform quite close. Also, Sapphire is a more trusted brand. While Sparkle is a cheapo brand and i have had problems claiming under their warranty before so i no longer purchase any of their cards.
hello , The 4830 perfoms like the 8800 GT, they exchange blows and thats it. The 4830 has more of a future because of DX 10.1, but other than that, the cheaper card should be the winner. bu that is not the case over here so you can go with 4830
