I am running Applet on my application server,suddenly it comes up with the Grey message, because of which my Applet unable to load.but it still gives me an message saying that, Applet running at the Bottom.
Which is really strange for me.
If anyone come across this the please let me know.

They occur when an error in the loading or execution of an applet has occurred, causing an applet crash. In Java, the technical term for these errors is an Exception. Good Java applets will "catch" these exceptions, or at least attempt to catch the most likely of errors. Many though are unforeseen, and some not even the fault of the applet. Let's look at some of the most obvious causes.
Basically, IIS settings don't allow to serve files with unknown extensions. IIS returns 404 error when JFileUpload tries to load i18n.properties. You have to update IIS settings to map ".properties" to "text/plain" mime-type. See instructions for IIS 4.x/5.x or 6.x.
Can you reproduce this after uninstalling all icedtea-java7 packages and then installing icedtea-gcjwebplugin package ? icedtea-java7 has been removed from the archive and replaced by openjdk-6.
