Remote desktop not working on windows 7
hi,
i have a problem with windows 7 bringing up a remote desktop connection,i have set my router to aim port 3333 at it, i have changed the port in the regedit to port 3333 on the windows 7 computer, turned on remote connections,I go to the connection and it appears to be connecting to it and then the remote connection just disappears from the screen.Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.
Re: Remote desktop not working on windows 7
hi,
If you are using window 7 you must know that it can only take 10 simultaneous request at any given time. Ensure that another machine does not manage other network request then try the connection
Re: Remote desktop not working on windows 7
Remote Desktop Web Connection still needs open 3389 which ActiveX on IE. /tsweb just download and install ActiveX. The ActiveX same as Remote Desktop client, means still need to connect port 3389 of your local computer. You have to allow your firewall/router to pass the 3389 to your local computer.
