Hello, I am on Windows XP and all of a sudden I can see many dialogue boxes pop up with "pctsTray.exe" either giving for some error or another one asking me to debug a software. It is really annoying me now and I want to get rid of it so if anyone who can tell me how to remove it from my pc it would be great. Thank you
pctstray.exe is part of the Spyware Doctor.
Could you please uninstall/reinstall Spyware Doctor and see if this resolves the issue.
Exit Spyware Doctor-> Click on Start-> Program-> Spyware Doctor-> Uninstall Spyware Doctor-> Go to c:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor and remove this folder if it still exist-> Dowload Spyware Doctor from here.
Does this error occur when you click on the system tray icon?

It's faster and better than add / remove applet.
When you run it highlight the item then select uninstall in next window select Advanced and click Next, follow prompts when uninstalled it will scan registry and drive for leftover files / folders,click + sign to expand all results and tick ONLY the bold items and follow prompts.
