Restore Drive Icons

Hello Everybody,

I had installed Windows Xp on my system. I would like to know that how do i restore my drive icons. My drive icons had change and i would like to restore it back on my system. Does any body knows how to restore drive icons back on my system? Any help on the above issue would be appreciated.

You can try restarting the pc or use System Restore to been the pc back to on earlier time. To find System Restore, click Start on the desktop --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore.

Tweak UI does have a option to restore icons. But from what I hear TweakUI can sometimes have unwanted side-effects.

This Happens If C Drive has "Autorun.inf" File.To Restore Default Icon You Need To Delete "Autorun.inf" File. Do A Search For "Autorun.inf" In C Drive And Delete It.Now Restart The PC.

Go to registry, under this address : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
or maybe a little different on XP
then delete DriveIcons node, then restart your computer

to run registry type regedit in Run window
