Gigabyte motherboard sound driver problem
Hey!
I have brought a Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L Intel Chipset Desktop Motherboard. I am using Windows XP Home, and installed All the drivers. All drivers are working fine. But there is Audio driver shows me a failure message. Does anyone have idea to install these drivers. Please help me I am searching its drivers from last 2-3 days. Even drivers from intel's website doesn't match. Sound works fine on Windows 7.
Re: Gigabyte motherboard sound driver problem
Hey!
I guess you installed the drivers manually from the device manager... Right!? I suggest you to install the drivers from the CD and let it Autorun...! Now it will restart the computer several times as and when required...! That will do your work...! All the best...!
Re: Gigabyte motherboard sound driver problem
Hey!
I've never had any problems using the CD or the website drivers for this board. Make sure that Audio is not disabled in the BIOS. This may cause the drivers to fail to install, or in some cases, complete to install but still be flagged in Device Manager. So in thee BIOS make sure onboard Audio is enabled and HD Audio is also enabled... Moral Of the Story : Use Motherboard CD's Autorun Feature. All the best...!
