JET 2009 for Admission to Diploma Courses

Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training will conduct Joint Entrance Test - 2009 for Admission to Diploma Courses.

Last Date to Apply: April 25, 2009 (upto 12.00 noon)

Date of Test: May 30, 2009 (Saturday) from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Eligibility :

Candidates should have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English.

A candidate who has appeared for the qualifying examination but whose result has not been declared shall be admitted provisionally to the Joint Entrance Test but his/her candidature shall be canceled if he/she fails to qualify in the examination or fails to produce the proof of his having qualified at the time of counseling.

Candidates have to buy the prospectus-cum-Application form from:

The Counter of the office of the Board or designated branches of Punjab National Bank or Institutions: Rs. 250

By Post with demand draft (to be received at the office of the Board at least 10 days before the closing date): Rs. 300/-

Application Fee:

The JET Application Form(also referred to as ICR Form) complete in all respects should be enclosed in the envelop supplied with the prospectus and deposited at a designated Bank branch listed at page 2. The examination fee should be paid in cash @ Rs. 520/- (for General and other categories) and Rs. 260/- (for SC/ST) along with the application form in one of the bank branches of Punjab National Bank. In case the application form is sent by post/courier, it should be accompained by Demand Draft of Rs. Rs. 520/- (for General and other categories) and Rs. 260/- (for SC/ST) drawn in the favour of "Secretary, Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training" payable at "Chandigarh". However, candidates are advised to submit the forms at the bank branches and get the required acknowledgement.
