Recently I had purchased my iPhone 2G with the new firmware provided. Afterwards I had to as well known again jailbreaken it. Unfortunately I have since then no more internet access. I have checked iPhone WiFi connections, but no Internet on my iphone. Under attitudes/network now also no more is not asked for the data for the mobile network, where I could make the necessary APN attitudes.
I am helpless and for any hints grateful.
Click with your iPhone on EDGE and give there you under APN >>>> a mobileoffice3g.

I don’t have the T-mobile internet running. I also have a problem with the APN settings: APN settings (Settings -> General -> Network -> Cellular Data Network is gone).
Is it safe for me to solve the problem like you have mentioned? Is there any other possible solution that I can overcome this problem?
Here is what you can do:
1. Make sure you have iTunes 8.
2. Connect your phone to your computer.
3. iTunes will say that the phone is in recovery mode and must be restored. Click OK.
4. Hold Shift and click on the Restore button in iTunes.
5. Browse and select the iPhone 2.1 ipsw file.
6. iTunes will restore your phone to 2.1.
