Automatic Wifi connection not working

Hello,

I configured a wireless connection from my PC to my Freebox, but at startup vista does not connect automatically I have to ask vista each time to connect manually. How to solve this problem? because when there is an unsecured network nearby detected it connects directly

With XP the problem does not arise.

You should you connect to your router (see your manual) to check how it authenticates the new computers.

• Click Start > Control Panel
• Switch to Classic View and select Administrative Tools
• Double-click Services
• Search for WLAN AutoConfig on the list by scrolling down and double-click to view the properties.
• Change the Startup Type to Automatic then click the Start button to initiate the service and click OK.
• Go to File menu and select Exit to close the Services window.
