Hey, I get the 2 error in most games, programs I try to install through CD / DVD drive. Have tried to update my windows install but without success, have also looked on google and most sites are just that I need to update Windows Installer. What should I do?
Windows XP is just nothing but problems :bleh:
1. What is Windows Installer, you have upgraded to?
Download one of these 2 from Microsoft,
- Windows Installer 4.5
- Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2)
2. What is your Eventlog on the error, if anything?
1. Tried Windows Installer 4.5 and other but it says that I dont have the right type of OS.
2. Eventlog says nothing to the error that I can see it.
