Can't Save .ini File
I've never had such problem on my old XP.currenly i am using vista and it is not allowing me to save an .ini file.I'm trying to make a rainy and it won't let me save the changes to the .ini file. I get this message...Cannot create file continue says... Make sure that the path and file name are correct. I opened it in that location in the first place, so the path is correct. I didnt change the name of it either. what is wrong ??

Re: Can't Save .ini File
Be sure to have admin privileges. Vista restricts access to many files to general users.

Re: Can't Save .ini File
Try running the its exe file ie .exe in compatibility mode by right-clicking on .exe and changing its properties, also set the EXE file to be run as admin (even if you are the admin). Then AFTER you run that with those settings on the EXE file, try editing the its .ini file.
If that doesn't work, the only other thing I can think of is to move your entire installed folder to a new location on your hard drive

Re: Can't Save .ini File
Since it's located in the program files, then to open it, you may need to right-click on the file and select "run as administrator". Also, you could try saving your .ini as a .txt, delete the .ini, then re-name the text file as "(filename).ini".
