Media Player not working in Windows 7
Hello Freinds,
Reecently i had installed Windows 7 on my system. The problem is that i can not use my Media Player in Windows 7. Whenever i try to play any video in Media Player, the screen flashes and turns in to black screen. All my videos are in DIVX formats. Can any body tell me that why i'm unable to use my media player in Windows 7? What can i do to resolve the above problem? Can any body help me out to resolve this issue? Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You can try out some other players such as VLC, Real Player etc.
Re: Media Player not working in Windows 7
To play DIVX videos you first need to install the DIVX codec on your computer. To install the DIVX codec, simply download the latest version of the codec available for your system and follow the installation instructions.
After you've installed the video codec on your system, your media player of choice should be able to play all DIVX movies and videos.
Re: Media Player not working in Windows 7
Windows 7 now supports more types of media files, now including AAC in the audio department, and H.264, DivX and Xvid in video, with no third-party download needed. It also supports all of the formats it did before, including the earlier MPEG stuff and of course anything Microsoft had a hand in, not just WMA and WMV, but VC-1, too.
