Dual View with 9400GT graphics card
I use my current PC for watching videos on TV (Full HD). I thought to upgrade my PC and take a graphics card with 9400GT chipset and HDMI output (ASUS EN9400GT SILENT/DI/512MD2 - 512 MB HDMI / DVI - PCI Express (NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT) for example).
My question is: with this card, is it possible to use dual view for a Full HD resolution on the HDMI and standard resolution (1280 x 1024) on the PC monitor (VGA or connected DVI)?
Re: Dual View with 9400GT graphics card
Normally yes, but TV sometimes reserve some surprises. Finally, with recent drivers and nView, it should not be a problem.
Re: Dual View with 9400GT graphics card
To avoid surprises and problems in managing dual-screen, avoid ATI cards in any case
Re: Dual View with 9400GT graphics card
So it is possible to have different resolutions simultaneously with the same card on two different taken?
If so, it has evolved as the Dual View I remember a lot of problems when I use (GeForce2 and GeForce 4).
Re: Dual View with 9400GT graphics card
it works with a Nvidia card or GMA. Different screen, different resolution ... Tested on external screen + notebook screen, and VGA + DVI. For the HDMI I do not know ...
Re: Dual View with 9400GT graphics card
In my view a dual market 3 generations of Ati cards without fail.
Strangely, it is among NVidia that I had a bad experience on 3 graphics cards (with a GF8800GTS) as what it holds most of the fault to no chance that the manufacturer of chipsets.
Except in special cases (to include some chipsets problems), it works well for everyone Dual View.
