Installation Problem with HEIST in windows Vista

Hi everyone
Am newbie here, and hoping you will be able to help me.

I recently bought the game HEIST which, on the box says it runs under Vista,XP. I've installed it and the Installation gets completed sucessfully but when I click the icon to start the game nothing happens - none of the icons (inc EXIT) will work or do anything.

I have a high end PC (2 Gb Ram, 256 Video Card) so I can't understand what the problem is.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Here i have found something for you, check whether this works:

Go to folder where it is installed.
Locate file named dxinfo.bin.
Delete it.
Launch game.
Buttons should work again.
