office suite "not genuine" message
When I open Word, a message suddenly pops up "This copy of office is not genuine." I know this course well. It was removed with the cleaning validation star, but showed up a month ago in connection with an update. But now it suddenly surfaced up again in word. How do I remove it?

Maybe you've got a pirated copy.
Use a legit copy of Office?
Contact Microsoft is the best help I (and probably everyone else) can give you.
Re: office suite "not genuine" message
I know that if your download and run the "validate windows" and get a "not genuine windows" message then windows update will not update your operating system.
I don't know if the same logic applies to "genuine office." I suspect it may mean that windows update won't update your copy of Office.
You could always get the free office replacement software?
You have got the "get genuine..." message created by microsoft to protect its software from pirate copies. Can not argue with that. The only way around it is to get the correct code to make it genuine, or completely reload the software but do not download the windows update for security software. Windows will stop updates if you do not have a genuine verified copy.
