How to format USB pendrive when it shows an error
Hello Friends,
I would like to know that how do i format a USB Pen drive when particularly it shows an error in it. Is it possible for me to format that particular USB Pen drive? Does any body have any idea about it? Kindly let me know your views on the above issue. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Try to format your USB Pen drive using the DOS. Go to DOS type "CMD" and then type " chkdsk /f " to format your USB Pen Drive.

Try out the following steps in order to check whether your USB Pen drive is not damage.
1) Check your pen drive whether it is working or not.
2) Check your USB port is working or not.
3) Check in BIOS whethre you can see your USB enable or not.
4) If all the above three steps seems to be Ok, then it might be the problem with your Windows.

In that case follow the procedure below to remove write protection from your pen drive.
1. Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor.
2. Navigate to the following path:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
Note: If the registry key StorageDevicePolicies key does not exist, you will need to create it
