What is your processor? What is your cooler now? Should you only have a fan or a completely new CPU cooler?
I have the fan that I got when I bought it. I have a Q6600 processor and I do not know right now I just have a fan.
Intel stock cooler is suitable. There are many good CPU coolers on the market.
for ex. Zalman CNPS7700
My friend bought this and was satisfied any time. Took down his processor from 50c in the load to 35c in load. (Perhaps this was because he changed thermal paste simultaneously.)
The key question is why you want a new cooler? Do you want less noise, lower temperatures (ISF why) or are you overclocking the CPU? what is your budget, etc?
It is really old, I just updated to the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and my temps dropped by 20 degrees.Quote:
