How to uninstall Adobe Reader 8?

Hello to all,


I tried to uninstall Adobe reader through control panel add / remove programs in order to make the new version 9, a message says: can not open this patch package. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.

Try to uninstall with the Windows Installer Clean Up.

Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package now .

You must be logged on to Windows with a user account that is a computer administrator to run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. For more information about how to install and run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, see the "More Information" section.

Here is the step wise guide for you : Manually remove Adobe Reader (8.x on Windows) , hope this will solve your problem.
