Format PC with Vista preinstalled
My PC will require a little formatting in some time. It is the Acer Aspire 9300 with Vista pre-installed. When I bought this PC, the "seller" VERY strongly recommended me not to uninstall Vista especially to reinstall another OS like XP for example. Because according to him, it could produce conflicts between the PC and OS.
That seems a little crazy, and I would like to have your opinion. So my question before formatting the PC and switch to good old XP that is much easier and takes much less resources than the Vista.

Hi, here you arrive at regaining your drivers up your PC normally no problem. But you must know what you have in the case (motherboard, graphic card, ...)
Re: Format PC with Vista preinstalled
But a branded computer can also prevent the installation of another OS (eg hard disk will not be detected or any errors during installation) so carefully, preferably burn CDs Restore PC before anything else (since the PC is Acer or you have to do your CD Restore yourself through their software)
Re: Format PC with Vista preinstalled
After making your restore CD, do some research via Google and try to advance to find your XP drivers.
Not always clear on laptops recently, I made the unpleasant experience.
