In my computer i am having a Error with floppy drive saying "floppy drive A error System halt" and system stops there, but the system don't have a floppy drive. I tried to change the settings for the floppy drive in the bios but i cannot get into the BIOS to do so.
There is something fundamentally wrong. Switch off, remove mains plug, and check/reseat all connections to and from the hard drive. Try powering up again.

How did you tried going in the bios???
Pressing the delete(any) key on the board....??
Then where the computer stops try pressing the F1 key to proceed further....!
I tried delete key to enter the bios to change the bios setting but it didnt worked........!
But when i tried your solution of getting proceed with the windows... it worked perfectly....!
But i want the solution for this as i don't have the floppy drive in me .... & i don't want to proceed for windows pressing F1 every time i switch on my computer
Try changing the keyboard it may help you it will definitely work as your keyboard is corrupt.
