After the installation of a program, I found a dirt trails on my computer viz. win32rootkit.tdss
I can not get rid of it despite of all the research. Have you ever had to deal with this ugly stupid?
For info Adaware detects it but does not know how to remove it. In addition I can not install/use spybot, malware, or any other software which can remove such kind of stuffs from your computers.
You tried to boot your pc in Safe Mode and run Adaware from there? Perhaps the removal may do so. Otherwise see where it finds this file and delete it manually in safe mode.
Thank you for your help, actually I tried that but there is nothing to be done. win32rootkit.tdss is visible nowhere.
Download combofix. ComboFix allows the manual removal of spyware infections. It has a specialized effective cleaning tool, which is useful compared to other malware and spyware removers.
How to use combofix:
- Disable or Close all anti-spyware, anti-malware antivirus real-time protection, which may affect ComboFix.
- Download the latest version of ComboFix save to you desktop
- Close all programs of you computer
- Double click ComboFix.exe on you desktop
- When Combofix finished, it will create logs for you
You can use this report to search and remove infections which are not automatically removed.
