Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 and VDIMM specification?
Following question: What exactly is the (BIOS / Everest) specification for the DDR2 voltage to this board?
Background: I have 2x 2 GB Geil Black Dragon CL4 installed, which for the timing of 4-4-4-12 at 2.0V voltage certified. According to JEDEC, the RAM's first time so "restrained" is programmed so that in all settings to "Auto" in BIOS for the CL 5-5-5-18 (actually) 1.8V input. So far so good.
Now, however, by default voltage 1.92V in the BIOS setting under "Auto" and confirm this in the Windows operating both Speedfan and Everest.
If I have the timing severe, so the specified 4-4-4-12 create tension on the (then necessary +0175 V) 2.0V increment in the BIOS, it should now go all clear. Now I have at full (Video Coding in 2 instances, the surf and burn) and at sporadic times bluescreen, one has to reboot. Memtest runs however, temperatures are in order, Windows is fresh.

hi,
I have the board, but only Staandart 800 Ram.
Re: Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 and VDIMM specification?
hi,
Gigabyte boards is all around 0.1 V, that is still JEDEC-compliant, übervolten. In my case would mean that the information in the BIOS, both Speedfan and Everest as far as voting, the RAM's content is really not get 4-4-4-12 at 2.0V.
Re: Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 and VDIMM specification?
Have finally found the time to install the board. The timing of my Rams were correctly transferred from the SPD. 4-4-4-12 at 1.8 V, according to Everest and Easytune. I believe may be it related to the Software issues.
