Position of discs on a IDE cable

if 2 drives are on the same IDE cable (master / slave) is that:

• The transfer rate is faster than 2 IDE cable different? (I read)
• The transfer rate is slower than on 2 different IDE cable? (I read too)

As a general rule, you should never mix the optical drive and Hd

So in this case (2HDD, no optical drive) you recommend removing the 2 drives on 2 different layers?

In principle it installs mat in a hard drive is a master drive (DVD burner ect ..) As Slave The hard disk is installed or the OS must be installed on the primary graphics card.
