Hi,
I get this error code 800CCC16 INVALID_ACCOUNT User account not recognized", when I try to access a newsgroup. It says "account not properly configured". What is wrong, how can I repair this??
There is an exception: I googled on "outlook express" and got this newsgroup
as a link, and see, it works.
You are posting this using MSNews as your news server. Which news server/were/ you using?
OE does not save any news posts, it only mirrors what is on the server. If
you want to keep posts indefinitely, you need to drag them to a user created local folder.
Check the spelling of the account name and re-enter the password taking care to spell it correctly.
