China iPhone PC Suite

after installing china pc suite or pcsync suite etc, when you connect your china phone or iphone, the mobile displays options. select com. the p.c will then install a modem for it and provides usually com2 as the port. you can also check the new port number in device manager ports.

now click on pcsync etc to open pc suite or pc sync. click on settings, select ports, and select the com2 and in the bottom you may select outlook or outlook express and close. then the pcsuite recognises the mobile and offers to download the phone book.

my experience is you can save it as a txt oe cst file and we can later convert to excel if required. the suit is generally unable to transfer or save to outlook/outlook express. neverthless the cst or txt file is a good backup which can be used to reenter phone numbers if required. there seems to be no possibility to write back to the mobile through the pcsuite.

What is the make or model of the china mobile phone that you are having? It may be possible that your china mobile phones doesnt support pc connectivity, so check its phone manual. Most of the china mobile phones dont support pc connectivity due to lack of hardware and software support. It is a useless phone.

for the information of all concerned.
1. when you connect your mobile to pc usb port, if your mobile responds first before the p.c and offers you to select 1.external storage 2.com port 3. webcam 4.pc suite etc, then you should select com port. then the pc system responds and gives a message that it is fixing driver for modem and when it succeeds the message telss that it has successfully loaded drivers. then only the modem of phone can appear in device manager of p.c. if the mobile initially does not show com port that means it will not work with any pc suite unless one of the other options is pc suite in which case you must select pc suite.

2 now open device manager and check for the new modem port either under ports or under usb and notedown the port number. exit device manager.

3.now open your china pc suite as administrator, click on settings, port and select the port number you have seen in device manager.

4.now click on handset phonebook. if your mobile is detected, now you will get a message whether you want to download contacts from handset.

5.download contacts to handset phonebook and save them to a csv file on your desktop.

6. you can use this csv file to restore back contacts to mobile if required.

7. you dont need outlook or outlook express for china phone suite.

8. however if you have already saved the outlook contacts to a csv file, then, you may try importing that file in phone suite and copying them to handset phonebook. if it is successful then you may try to copy them to handset

9. try some more research and let us know!

i have the MT6225, and i want to use the PC suite for JAVA applications, but i have a problem th PC suite is ok just for phone book or messages but not for "file manager"
i have the message "fail to get drive information"
please help me to have java applications

It might be possible that your phone doesnt support java applications, so try installing the .nes game files or .mrp files, for the same you can check the threads made here - http://forums.techarena.in/tips-tweaks/1415840.htm

Anyways, i would like to say that if you just dial 1100 on any mobile, it will take just as normal Numbers...and not as Codes. because you need to add '#' or '*' at the start or end.
