Infected: virus Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.ih

I am using a Windows XP SP2 system. It is quiet a basic system which limited hardware support. I am using Kaspersky 7 antivirus. It keeps on detecting WormWin32 Kido.ih. It is not able to delete and get rid of this infection completely. I had downloaded a number of different utilities to get rid of the same. I cannot install any other antivirus in the system as Kaspersky is already working. And even if I did will that help. My system is connected on the network of 20 pc. I had disconnected it after the worm is detected as it can spread. The worm keeps on creating two files in my system. One is autorun.inf and the second one is jwgkvsq.vmx. How can I block this completely.

It is right that you cannot install any other antivirus software, but you can install a anti-malware. Or either you can try to scan your system from a bootable media. If this does not work then you can try out a bootable antivirus scanner.
