Re: Problem with Windows Media Player Update
You have to reconfigure mess with new windows:usually it auto-install mess after the update;probably you'll have to update windows media and mess to work with new windows.

Re: Problem with Windows Media Player Update
This may be caused by some cable or digital subscriber line (DSL) modems that use Network Address Translation (NAT). Some NAT devices do not properly forward UDP packets.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Network tab.
Under Protocols, clear UDP.
For Windows Media Player version 6.4: On the View menu, click Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
Select Streaming Media and click Change.
Under Protocols, clear UDP.
Re: Problem with Windows Media Player Update
Have you tried updating all your audio and video drivers?
Although you reported it, I don't think being left handed is the source of the issue? (Just kidding.)
In the meantime, because a number of things can cause programs to freeze, including malware and corrupted files, please click on the link below and follow ALL of the steps to clean out your computer. It may take a while to perform all the steps, but it should help.
