D3D is not available on XP in Virtual PC
Hey guys!
I have a computer with Windows 2003 Server. I have installed Virtual PC and in it Windows XP. I want to Run some games in it. In the XP the display adapter is shown of Intel while i have 8600GT on my machine. Now the problem is i can't run all the games on it... Now that i ran Direct X diagnostic it shows direct draw enabled but D3D is not available...! How do i enable it... Can i install Other graphics card to Windows XP OS in the virtual PC by any means...? Help guys!
Re: D3D is not available on XP in Virtual PC
Hey..!
I suggest you to use VirtualBox. It supports OpenGL. Thought openGL runs most of the games. Moreover it is platform Independent, so you can use the hard disk image in Other OS as well if in future you want to migrate to some other OS...! All the best...!
