Hello!
For a few weeks ago, Netscape (version 4.7) is a problem with Java. It hangs up when a Java applet is loaded. I must then close the browser and sometimes crashes Windows (98 SE) thereafter from (Blue Screen). What is the reason? A new installation of Netscape, the problem is not solved. I have tried checking with Mozilla firefox but the same.
Try this:
In Firefox: Tools>Options>Privacy>Cache, then clear the cache. Your path to that may vary depending on what version of Firefox you have.
Close and restart the browser and then see if it works.
If that fails, post a link to the page you're having trouble with, assuming it is unoffensive and I don't need to register to view it.
Try uninstalling Java according to these instructions.
Then try reinstalling Java according to these instructions.
Also be sure to clear your Firefox cookies that match dinkytown using the instructions in Removing cookies? and your Firefox cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del before re-trying.
