Help-How to select multiple values using lookup function???
I am using Project 2007 and I have made a value list via lookup and want to know how am I able to allow multiple selection of this list. For instance, I got a field called 'systems' and I want to select one or more of the systems in the lookup list. With the lookup fucntion, it will only allow 1 selection. So, is using the lookup function correct in this case or is there any other way I can do this? Thanks.
RE: Help-How to select multiple values using lookup function???
You might have by using the Project Server 2007 and have created an enterprise custom field which allows that. Since you are using Project without Project Server then the answer is no. So, if you want to do it, then go to project web access and then select server settings, and then enterprise custom field definition and then create a new field with a lookup table that you have already defined and under the custom attributes, select the lookup table and then select the allow multiple values to be selected option. Hope this helps.
Re: Help-How to select multiple values using lookup function???
The lookup fields in project are not multi-select fields. It is possible through enterprise fields using Project Server, then I do not know about it. Incase you are not using Project Server, then you will either need to create additional lookup fields for your additional systems or create additional entries in the lookup fields to combine entries.

Thank you for the replies, since I am not using Microsoft Project Server then I guess I will have to look for something else to get around this problem.
