hi,
If you have the problem with a different audio controller, try to get the right audio driver from the web site of the manufacturer of your motherboard, or from a CD that came with the computer. For some hardware configurations, you can update the audio driver through windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
Re: Unable to play .mpeg format video at the correct speed
This is because your Audio Hardware is not fully compatible, this is happen when Windows Xp and Windows Vista was installed on the Same PC, ie, Older version and Newer version, Windows Vista need newer version of the driver, and if you installed the driver on Vista it will work, but sound in xp not work fully and vice versa.
If you repair the audio problem in Xp and the audio in vista will not work properly and vice versa
You got two choice,
1. Use Realtek or any other compatible Audio Device or Driver
2. Use Any One Windows operating System
Do Not Install Windows Version 5 and 6 on same system (windows Xp version 5 and Windows Vista version is 6)
Re: Unable to play .mpeg format video at the correct speed
hi,
when I use VLC Media Player to play video or mp3 files, the video play at the correct speed, but the sound is distorted. Same for mp3. I disabled the onboard sound card and all video played at the correct speed.
