Re: Cancelling Intelligent Menus in Windows XP Classic Mode
When the Intelligent Menu is activated in Internet Explorer, a message pops up that states it can be turned of using the Internet Options, but while using the Classic Windows mode, that option is unavailable.Well you need to do some registry changes to cancel Intelligent Menus, follow this tips:-
In case you want to disable Intelligent Menus for Internet Explorer's Favorites folder:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
change: "FavIntelliMenus"="yes" to "FavIntelliMenus"="no"
In case you want to disable Intelligent Menus for the Start Menu and sub-menus:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
change: "IntelliMenus"=dword:00000001 to "IntelliMenus"=dword:00000000
Thats it...
