Bluetooth consumes more battery than usb data cable?

I am using Nokia Mobile phone N72 when i connect to my laptop through Bluetooth it consumes more battery compare to USB data cable. Is there any problem with my Phone Battery ? Or connecting internet through edge enabled nokia handset by bluetooth consumes more battery than usb data cable?

When connecting internet through edge enabled nokia handset by bluetooth consumes more battery and nokia phone you cannot charge through PC.

bluetooth consumes more power. your battery will get depleted in a day if u browse for 1-2 hrs
