Coefficient Core 2 Duo E8500 blocked
Here I have a Core 2 Duo E8500 recently with a Asus P5Q Deluxe motherboard. I easily overclocked my processor to 3.8GHz with a 400Mhz FSB and a ratio of 9.5. I love him for raising the FSB, but when I went down the CPU ratio settings are not taken into account, the ratio remains at 9.5?
Can this be due to the fact that the ratio is blocked?

Keep up to date your bios and disable all the cpu options (C1E, Virtualization etc ...) is to disable all without exception
Re: Coefficient Core 2 Duo E8500 blocked
I have updated my BIOS. I disabled all the special options of the CPU and nothing changes. I checked several times, does not accept different multiplier of 9.5. Am I alone?
No, I do not think I will return any fun at it. I'm already very happy to have a processor that runs at 3.8GHz synchronous with RAM and 400Mhz bus. Anyway you can always do better
Re: Coefficient Core 2 Duo E8500 blocked
So why would you like to lower the coef?
Re: Coefficient Core 2 Duo E8500 blocked
What do you think? To save RAM better than the 400Mhz synchronously with my FSB.
