runonce settings saving error in Internet explorer 7
I have Windowss XP and I have installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta version. I found it nice but there seems to be a problem with it. Every time I start Internet Explorer 7, it would ask same questions on the runonce homepage again and again. I answered the questions and try to save the changes but it gives me an error saving the changes or applying the settings. I am to my wits end and if anyone can help me it would be great. Thank you

I found a temporary solution.
Create a Link with your "Home Site" at the desktop (so, Ie7 starts "normaly").
Re: runonce settings saving error in Internet explorer 7
Another quicker way to fix this problem is to right click on http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx which is the target. Once right clicked, choose open in new window or new tab. The target should open correctly. Customize the page as you want it and save changes. Close all IE windows and click IE7, your home page should open correctly.
Re: runonce settings saving error in Internet explorer 7
Follow these simple steps and your problem will be solved:
1. Open regedit and goto:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
2. In right-side pane, look for 2 DWORD values:
RunOnceComplete
RunOnceHasShown
3. Make sure both have their values set to 1. If any or both of them is set to 0, then change it to 1

4. That's it. Exit registry editor and start Internet Explorer. Now it'll not show the welcome page and will directly go to your Homepage.
NOTE: If you don't want to edit registry manually and want a ready-made file to do this task, then download following ZIP file, extract it and then run the extracted REG file:
