Display Problem With Nvidia GeForce3 TI 200 Video Card
I am in a strange problematic situation. I recently bought Nvidia geforce3 ti 200 and when i did a perfect installation of this video card, i thought of installing an update version of this video card driver. I did that and installed the update of the driver of this video card. The problem starts here as when i try to boot, i initially see a green screen before windows loading. then after some time the normal windows start working. And when i try to run any game, it again shows me the same green screen.

Re: Display Problem With Nvidia GeForce3 TI 200 Video Card
From those symptoms my first guess would be a problem with the LCD panel and the only other cause which makes much sense would be a bad video card. Given that two video cards have done the same thing, it sounds like a problem with the LCD panel. At this point you should just start swapping parts to prove which is bad. Have you tried the monitor on another computer? If it has both VGA and DVI inputs, does the VGA input look any better than the DVI input? Do you have another PCI-Express video card you can borrow to try it out with this LCD panel?

Well, if both VGA outputs work properly (with the DVI to VGA converter) but the two DVI outputs work differently (both bad) then that sounds like the video card. I guess you could get very unlucky and get two bad video cards in a row. If it were me, if returning the video card is a hassle then I'd still drag the monitor to someone else's computer to make sure the DVI input works properly. But then, I tend to be very careful about testing all the possibilities before returning things.
Re: Display Problem With Nvidia GeForce3 TI 200 Video Card
Sounds like the graphics card is the problem, because by adjusting its setting it has an effect on the problem. With the newest drivers the problem should technically disappear, but not always. On my mom's laptop (unfortunately has ATI card) the screen would just go black sometimes, or it would dim to nearly 100 % with no way to get it back without a restart. By installing new ATI drivers the problem happened less often, but it still happened. If you keep all the drivers updated it should get better ... if it really bothers you try contacting ATI and beat an answer out of the tech support ... the answer will be sorry our ATI cards are just crap. Or you could get a new graphics card ... any except SiS or really cheap ones (I would reccomend nVIDIA). Or if you bought the card recently you can possibly take it back to the store and have em check it for faulty manufacturing (a very likely possibility considering the "quality" of ATI cards in general)

i assume it is a desktop computer (not laptop). there could be something wrong with monitor itself or graphic card. if you have more computers or monitors at home try to connect another one to your computer and see if it works. if you'll still see that green color, then it's probably need to buy a new graphic card.
shake the cable between the monitor and pc did the colors change
replace the cable internal short in the cable.
Check your connection to make shure it is not loose. Otherwise, your monitor is going or your video card/chip is defective. You could reinstall the video driver but I really don't think that is the problem.
