Randomly shutdown while playing Fallout 3
Hello Everyone,
Whenever i try to play Fallout 3 game on my pc, it gets randomly shutdown. I don't know, but it doesn't allow me to play Fallout 3 game for a longer time. Is the issue with my PSU or is the problem related to something else on my pc? Can any body help me out to resolve this issue? Any kind of help on it would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Check to see if the bios shows your machine's temperatures. If not, you can use a program like 'Speedfan' to display/check them.Your box might need a cleaning. If so, use a can of compressed air, not a vacuum cleaner. Don't forget about the power supply, make sure that there is good airflow through it.

Power supply probably may have went bad and can't support the use of your graphics card, causing your computer to shut down.
Try watching a movie, or running one of the various graphical benchmarking programs and see if it does the same thing. If so, its a safe bet that you need a new power supply.
Re: Randomly shutdown while playing Fallout 3
Hey do get this problem only while playing this game? How about video playback or streaming video? May be that you may have a heavy CPU or GPU load on your system?
Have you try doing defragmentation to your hard drives lately? Its highly recommended that you first troubleshoot this Crysis.
