Re: How to Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 7
In this article of turn-off of a mode hibernate .
1. For switching-off we will take advantage of the editor of the register.
a)To menu Windows in a search window we write REGEDIT.
b)Open on a key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Power
Or we include search by key F3 and we search HibernateEnabled
c)We Appropriate to value HibernateEnabled value 0
2. We reboot an operating system.
The file will automatically leave, releasing additional space on the store.
If you can`t do it!
To download a file of the register and having started it
All these operations will pass automatically!

Yep another good and easy to follow instruction... the REGEDIT method is by far the easiest... thanks for that. And don't forget to change the settings in the power plan under control panel, or when you reboot, the change to the Registry is undone.
Re: How to Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 7
The best thing to do is using a hotfix from Microsoft instead of manipulating the settings with our own hand. Many time while modifying system registry we can face major errors. I found two hotfix from Microsoft which can help you to enable or disable hibernation on your choice. The link is below. Just go through the article and download both the hotfix. Microsoft Fix it 50462 is for Enabling Hibernation and Microsoft Fix it 50466 is for disabling.

Re: How to Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 7
That looks a nice option. I had checked the hotfix they work fine. Before I always use the Power Management in Control panel to play with hibernation settings. I want my lcd to keep working even when I close the lid. I had did some registry changes but they did not showed up any difference. At last the simple way of disabling hibernation from control panel worked for me. I will use the hotfix next time.
