Download Catalyst 9.3 Drivers for Windows Vista and Windows 7
AMD has released on Wednesday evening version 9.3 drivers for its graphics cards, the Catalyst, available for Windows XP, Windows Vista and now Windows 7, since the current and future Microsoft operating system will now be developed unified.
With Windows 7, AMD promises enhanced performance compared to Vista, and ensures that the 1.1 WDDM (Windows Display Driver Model) introduced in the future OS is fully supported for all cards of the Radeon HD 2X00 series and newer.
Among other fixes, AMD announced a slight revision of the HDMI audio driver integrated into the Catalyst suite, and improved performance observed in Folding @ Home, an improvement over ATI's Stream technology GPGPU (General Purpose GPU). For developers, AMD also mentions the arrival of an SDK, or software development kit, related to the AMD Display Library (ADL).
As for games, finally, the Catalyst 9.3 therefore provide a gain in Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Colonies Edition of around 20% for the Radeon 4800, and up to 50% for 4600 series cards, 4500 and 4300.
You may now download the Catalyst 9.3 of XP and Vista versions / 7, 32 and 64 bits. The Linux version should follow in the coming days.

What about ATI Mobility Radeon? no Catalyst driver? When is the hotfix that goes with it?
Re: Download Catalyst 9.3 Drivers for Windows Vista and Windows 7
Drivers for laptop NVidia and ATI, are made available, in most cases, only by the manufacturer of the laptop. This has always been so. It is the manufacturer to provide a new driver (but it is also often necessary?)
