i read some thread regarding security but i am not satisfied regarding solution for spyware and viruses .i am daily internet user and going through various pages so please can any one find me better solution regarding spyware and viruses .i am using maccafe antivirus on my windows xp sp3.

Switch system off and on. - If you are using Windows ME or XP, you system off and on again to ensure that no infected files, we just removed, in a restore point left.

- Make your Internet Explorer more secure - This you do by following the instructions below:
- From Internet Explorer click the Tools menu and then Internet Options.
- 1 Click once on the Security tab
- Click 1 time on the Internet icon.
- 1 Click once on the Custom Level button.
- Change ActiveX controls not marked as safe Initialize and script to Disable
- Change ActiveX controls Download signed to questions
- Change ActiveX controls to Disable Download unsigned
- Change Items on the desktop install questions
- Change the Start programs and files in an IFRAME to questions
- Change the sub-frames across different domains to navigate to questions
- If you already have these settings, click the OK button.
- If prompted, "Are you sure you want security for this zone change, choose Yes.
- Then press Apply and then OK to close the Internet Options window to close.
Use an AntiVirus program - It is very important to have an antivirus program on your computer. This can only have a lot of problems in the future.

Update your anti-virus - It is very important that your antivirus software at least 1 time per week update (preferably more). If your antivirus software is not up-to-date is no longer able to recognize new variations / Remove.
Use a Firewall - The firewall is a very important part for your computer. Without a firewall your computer open for hackers and computer hackers can be reproduced.

Kerio Personal Firewall

Install Ad-Aware - Download and install Ad-Aware.
Install SpywareBlaster - The program keeps all pop-ups against, so the risk is smaller that spy software is installed via a webpage. It also blocks a large number of known fraudulent websites.
Update all these programs regularly - Update all the programs that are recommended. Without regular updates you will not be protected when new suspicious programs out.
