on my laptop, I microsoft.net framework 1.1
and 1.1 microsoft hotfix (KB929729) installed. I noticed
framework that is made in 3.5
my question: I must Uninstall framework 1.1
before installing framework 3.5
because on the download site it says:
If you have installed previous versions. NET Framework 3.5, you should uninstall using the Add / Remove Programs before running the installation.

Many games requires the latest version of Net Framework to run, then yes I think that's the problem ...
If you encounter a problem, you can uninstall versions that you want by Add / Remove Programs ..
In my case they are installed because I installed via ais updates Microsoft Update, in my case I have the mass on my hard drive that's why I leave them all there, if they should be uninstalled prior to the Microsoft Update 3.5 does not suggest pre-installed version before 3.5, when I formatted and XP updates I could not install just the 3.5, I had installed the others.
There are still some programs that require. NET Framework, some games, the management of user accounts if im wrong use certain functions of the Framework, Microsoft Silverlight, and other I remember.
