Disabled Google Software Updater
Hello Everybody,
I'm running Windows Xp on my system. By mistake i have downloaded "Google Software Updater" on my system. Whenever i turn on my pc, the task "Google Software Updater" appears on my Scheduled Tasks folder. An automatic pop-ups comes on my screen which really irritates me a lot. I would like to change this task's schedule and would like to disable it from my system. Can any one knows how can i do it? Kindly provide me the logical steps for doing this.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Disabled Google Software Updater
Disabling the startup item can be done by deleting the file ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.google.keystone.agent.plist or adding a new "Disabled" property to it (in case you want to keep the file):
Quote:
<key>Disabled</key>
<true/>
Hope so it may help you to resolve your issue.:thumbup1:
Re: Disabled Google Software Updater
It should be easy for you to figure out how to disable or delete an application. The process should try to remove sufficient components to disable all functions of the application, visible or not, without messing up your computer. Once an application is disabled or deleted, it should not remain active or be automatically enabled later by itself or another application.
Re: Disabled Google Software Updater
You can uninstall the complete software by going to Control Panel and just click on Google Software Updater Add/ Remove program. This will remove the complete software from your system
