Dawn of war 2 Configuration
I just made the mistake of buying DAWN OF WAR 2 without looking at the configuration
Here is my configuration in XP:
Pentium IV 3Ghz
1 GB of Ram
Radeon X600 Pro
Motherboard: Asus P5AD2 Premium
Will I have to change everything to make it or I can change my graphics card? If so what card?
Thank you in advance
Re: Dawn of war 2 Configuration
Config minimum Dawn of War 2: Windows XP / Vista (OK), Pentium 4 3.2 GHz (limit but it can go), 1 GB of RAM for Vista 1.5 (OK, but as t'est limit on the CPU, may need to +), video card GeForce 6600 GT or Radeon X1600 (not good to you)
Dawn of war 2 is optimized by changing your graphics card, it would.
ATI HD3850 512MB for example
Re: Dawn of war 2 Configuration
When I want to launch Dawn of war 2, the following error message appears:
Quote:
Can not find a device rendering hardware supported. Verify that your system meets the minimum required for Dawn of War II, that dirextX is properly installed and the latest drivers are installed on your system.
Apparently I have read that it must be a graphics card with Shader 3.0 which is not of my case or problem.
I think I will do as you advise me to buy a small card against by what is on it as it will not stop me even when the processor 3 GHz?
Thank you again:
Re: Dawn of war 2 Configuration
For the cpu, it depends if the game is well optimized can run a little below the config mini, which is the case for this game if you can overclock the best. You can add a bit of RAM for scratch the perf.
so the X1600 (Radeon X. ...) are no longer for sale new apparament.

Your config is not enough ... As far as I saw it is still greedy this game .
