Finding users connected to my PC ?

Good evening,

I want to find users connected to my shared folders in my network at any given time with the command prompt if possible or by some any other means.

Which version of Windows?

Right click on the desktop-> Manage-> System Tools-> Shared Folders and click on 'Open files'.

Here you can see the shared folders, users connected (sessions) and files currently in use.

Windows XP Professional Pack 2 . I think that your solution is solved my problem.
any tip with the command prompt?

At the command line, you can perhaps look at the net share command.

If you want to see who is connected to your machine.. just run a simple net sessions

C:\>net help sessions

Alternatively, you can see everyone who is connected to your network by typing net view in the command prompt. If there are people accessing your network without your permission, I suggest configuring your router with a stronger key, as well as using a mac address table for access.
